[Hey, guess who's back from his mallynapping? This little critterpuff!

Aside from being a bit cold and rather (okay, very) hungry, though, he seems like he got off unscathed from his month-long stay at Hotel Malnosso.

That is, until he opens his mouth sounding like Benedict Cumberbatch. He hasn't changed his quirky speech patterns or anything; he just happens to sound like a British Sex God now instead of a magical girl mascot. Creepy.

Stalk him down at any of the food places or run into him around the village and boggle at the creampuff's new voice.]

[ You might find Usagi munching away happily in one of the food places, Pommy.

... She's too busy vacuuming all that food to pay attention to the critter just yet, though. ]

[Ooh, is that Usagi he sees in the okonomiyaki shop? He should talk to her. Even if his voice is kind of weird now. So he waddles over to where she's sitting.]

Myu, hi, Usagi!

[lunas]

[ ... Why is this weird voice talking to her. In fact, where is it coming from?

She looks down, and that's when she spots Pommy. ]

Oh, hi! Pommy! ... Um, did you just hear that weird voice too?

[bemyused]

[Pommy looks a little sheepish.]

Sorry, myu, that was Pommy. The Malnosso did something weird to Pommy's voice.

[lunas]

A-ack--

[ Looking a little sheepish now, but.. well, it's Usagi, so she perks up in no time at all. ]

Well, that's.. okay! It sounds a little weird, but it's not like you could help it, right?

[bemyused]

[Don't mind him, he's going to scramble up a nearby chair before climbing onto the table so he doesn't have to crane his...erm...body back too much to talk to Usagi.]

True...but Pommy doesn't understand why they did it in the first place! Pommy liked his own voice just fine.

[lunas]

Maybe it'll change back soon? It seems like some sort of prank..

[ her expression turns a bit curious, and she leans closer to Pommy as if to see if there's anything else wrong with him. ]

[bemyused]

[Pommy just tilts his head a little, gazing back at her curiously.]

Myu?

[lunas]

Um.. are you okay aside from that though, Pommy? I mean.. you never know what they could have done aside from your voice..

[bemyused]

[He waves a round pink paw.] Pommy's fine, Pommy thinks. Pommy doesn't feel any different!

[lunas]

Hmm, that's right.. [ she nods to herself a little. ] And you still remember your name too, that's a good thing..

[bemyused]

Has Usagi ever been kidnapped by the Malnosso before?

[lunas]

Hmm, one time. [ not that she'll say much about it except that. ]

That was around the same time as Ami-chan.

[bemyused]

Ami-chan... [Faint memory of an introduction.] Is that Mizuno? Pommy knows her.

[lunas]

Huh? Mizuno..? Yeah, that's her last name! [ ponder.. ] Why don't you call her by her first name, though?

[bemyused]

Pommy thought "Mizuno" was her first name...she didn't tell Pommy otherwise.

[lunas]

[ oh no, don't give her that sad look.. ]

I-- it's okay, Pommy! I know Ami-chan is a bit shy, so she usually lets people call her by her last name.. but her name is Ami-chan, Ami-chan!

[bemyused]

Ami-chan, huh? Pommy will call her that, then. [He's so used to "Mizuno" though...]

Anyway, what're you eating? [He peers at her plate.]

[lunas]

Ah, just pancakes! I thought I would keep it simple, you know? Except it's so nice to put some syrup on them and all..

[ don't get her started about food, she already forgot what they were talking about earlier. ]

[bemyused]

[Who cares what they were talking about earlier? FOOD!]

Myu, those pancakes look really good...you should put butter on them, too! And maybe some fruit like strawberries.

[lunas]

[ food solves all the problems ever! ]

Pommy, those are really good suggestions.. aah, now they'll be even more delicious! I'll devour all of them!

[bemyused]

[Devouring sounds like a good idea right now. Pommy calls over a waitress and orders a huge stack of pancakes, with butter, syrup, fruit, and whipped cream. And a plate of scrambled eggs on the side. He is hungry.]

Myu, Pommy definitely missed the food here! The stuff at the Malnosso place was disgusting.

[lunas]

[ These two will slowly devour all the food in the village together.. But Usagi is happily nomming away, even talking with her mouth full as she chews. ]

Yeah, it is, isn't it? [ munch munch ] I was there before too and it's so gross, I can't believe they only have that kind of food!

[bemyused]

It's stupid! You'd think the Malnosso would have better food if they could make Luceti a nice place.

[lunas]

Hmm.. You know, maybe the Malnosso just have a whole different way of tasting than we do! You know, just how like rich people always like that icky expensive kind of food.
